Active Steps provides behavioral support and intervention for individuals who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our mission is to work in collaboration with the family, to bring about measurable, meaningful, sustainable change in the lives of individuals with a focus on building self reliance and increased independence so as to achieve the best quality of life possible.

​Our Central Valley region is NOW ACCEPTING new clients with autism and other special needs into our applied behavioral analysis (ABA) treatment programs. We are available to conduct intake assessments, either in-person or through telehealth, with your family to begin the treatment process. Central Valley Clinic Questionnaire

Due to the expansive nature of the Central Valley Region, in-home services are often more difficult to staff. In an effort to remedy this barrier to services, we are working on possibly opening a clinic in the San Joaquin Valley. This would create a centralized location in the region to allow us to support more kiddos through clinic-based services, create a community resource for our clients, and build up Social Skills Programs. Input from current clients and the community is highly valued as we work on these plans.

Social Skills Group

We do not have Social Skills Groups in Central Valley at this time but are actively working to make this possible. If you are interested in your child joining a group in the future, fill out our contact form, and we will have your clinical team reach out when they are available.

School District Services

Active Steps is certified by the California Department of Education as a nonpublic agency to provide behavior intervention design (BID) and behavior intervention implementation (BII) to school-aged children with autism and other special needs. ​
